NASHUA, NH June 30, 2009 – Ektron Inc., a technology and market leader in Web content management software, today announced that Lisa Welchman, founding partner of WelchmanPierpoint will deliver the Keynote address at Synergy, Ektron’s annual customer conference. Lisa Welchman

The Keynote address will focus on the steps that business and technical employees can take to ensure an effective Web presence for their organization. Welchman will offer her ideas on how to better engage C-Level executives as well as her view on the current role a Chief Executive Officer, Chief Information Officer and Chief Operating Officer plays in strategic Web management.

“When it comes to Web management, business and technical strategists may not realize it but they play a very critical role,” commented Welchman. “Creating a powerful, effective Web presence can hinge on the strategists’ ability to get their C-Level executives to enable the sound execution of the organization’s Web presence. This is done through the development of Web guiding principles and by ensuring that the technical and communications arms of the Web development team are properly aligned and funded.”
