Ektron Short-listed by Internationally-recognized Analyst Firm
J. Boye urges buyers to consider Ektron CMS400.NET
NASHUA, NH August 20, 2009 – Ektron Inc., a technology and market leader in Web content management software is pleased to have recently been short-listed by European-based analyst firm J. Boye. Ektron pointed to this recognition, along-side other European-based vendors as further evidence of its established EMEA presence.
According to the announcement on its Web site, J. Boye based the list on “extensive experience with CMS selection” and pointed to Ektron CMS400.NET as one of ten WCM systems that “buyers from large and complex organizations with significant Web demands,” should always consider.
Janus Boye, founder of J. Boye, said he hopes the list “will help [buyers] save some time and confusion while navigating a still very crowded marketplace.” Boye added that buyers still need to address the delivery of any solution they choose by “finding a good implementation partner to support you.”
“We are very excited to have been short-listed by J. Boye,” stated Bill Rogers. chief executive officer at Ektron. “We also agrees with Janus on the importance of implementation to the success of any Web project. A real differentiator between us and other vendors, on and off J. Boye’s list, is Ektron’s ability to deliver comprehensive services to support our clients’ directly or assist our well-established partner channel in successfully delivering solutions across the globe.”
To be considered for inclusion, vendors must be significantly dedicated to Web CMS and have a history of relatively smooth upgrades combined with on-going technology investments in improving the system. It is also a requirement that vendors on the list have a global footprint where the vendor itself or experienced partners are located in almost all parts of the world.
