Ektron in the News
Your company's participation in social media is more than just sending content to the community. You need to participate in the conversation with the intent of building relationships. Answering questions, pointing consumers to solutions and ideas, and asking for input all create the transparency today's consumers are demanding. Enterprise technology company WebSolutions Technology, Inc. of Aurora, Ill. has been named 2009 Partner of the Year by Ektron Inc., an international third-party content management system (CMS) supplier with headquarters in Nashua, N.H. The award is Ektron’s highest distinction for certified partners. WebSolutions (WSOL) was honored for continued success in providing its customers with solutions to their unique web design and hosting needs. WSOL was also lauded for its team of service-minded designers, programmers and support engineers. Ektron made the announcement during a special Webinar in the spring. Every classroom at MCC is now equipped with the Ektron multimedia system that makes a computer, the Internet, video via DVD or VCR, and projection as easy as a touch of a button. Evans says the “smart” classrooms allow teachers to conveniently utilize information in a much broader scope.
Today's tech-savvy consumers expect more than an online presence -- they want a full range of Web 2.0 points of contact, and the opportunity to share and interact. Integrating content management with social networking tools -- Twitter, Facebook, RSS feeds, etc. -- is vital if you want to keep the conversation about your brand going. NASHUA – The accolades keep rolling in for Nashua-based Ektron, the winner of not one, but two state of New Hampshire business awards. The California Public Utilities Commission (PUC) rolls out Momentum, an application in the cloud and based on Ektron, a commercial enterprise content management system. The development of revolutionary web technology has led to Ektron Inc. being named the “Innovation Rocks!” Award winner by the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development’s Business Resource Center for the month of May.
