Bill Rogers

CEO & Chairman

Bill RogersBill Rogers is Ektron's CEO and Chairman.

Bill founded Ektron in 1998 with a vision to enable users to easily author and publish content on websites. He sparked a technology revolution with his first product eWebEditPro, and guided Ektron's journey to become a market leader in Web CMS. In his role as CEO, Bill sets the company's strategic direction and aligns product development with his forward-looking vision for Digital Experience Management.  

Prior to Ektron, Bill co-founded two other successful technology companies. At Global Telemedix, he led product development and spearheaded key strategic relationships with technical partners and investors, such as Hewlett Packard Medical Products. At Zydacron Inc., Bill conceptualized and executed product development initiatives and pursued strategic partnering efforts with major technology firms, such as IBM. Early in his career, Rogers worked on new technology development in DuPont Corporation's desktop publishing group and at MIT Lincoln Labs.

Tim McKinnon

President

Tim McKinnonAs President, Tim has responsibility for the management of all of Ektron's operations. 

Tim joined Ektron from Oracle/Endeca, where he served as the CTO and led Endeca's eBusiness strategy. Prior to Oracle/Endeca, Tim held the chief technologist role in the Digital Marketing Platform Group at Microsoft, where he led strategy for Microsoft's search and web content management initiatives. He joined Microsoft via the acquisition of FAST Search & Transfer, where he spent 10 years in a variety of leadership roles in engineering, sales and services.

Chip Greer

Chief Sales & Marketing Officer

Chip GreerChip Greer is responsible for Ektron's revenue growth, and heads worldwide sales, field operations, and corporate marketing.

Prior to Ektron, Chip was the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at KANA Software. Chip also held a number of Sales leadership positions at FAST Search & Transfer, where he contributed to the company's revenue growth by growing his team from $9 million to $45 million in revenue during his tenure.

Chip holds a BS in Marketing from Fairfield University.


Roger Blanchette

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer roger_blanchette

Roger is a business focused CFO. With many years working in the technology space, Roger has brought numerous private companies public.  He brings an international background to Ektron. 

Roger brings a deep knowledge of GAAP and iGAAP reporting. With awareness and experience from both domestic and international markets.

Roger holds a BBA in Administration from Universite de Sherbrooke and MBA in Finance from John Molson School of Business at Concord University.


Ben Schilens

SVP Client Operations

Benjamin SchillenBen is focused on driving and measuring key metrics throughout the organization to improve internal processes and growth. Ben leads Ektron's services and support functions.

Ben was promoted internally to lead operations after spending the previous 18 months managing Ektron Europe Limited’s operations throughout Europe, The Middle East, and Africa. Ben has over seven years experience in the web content and document management market.

Ben earned his B.A. from Boston University’s School of Management.


Chris Ramstrom

SVP Engineering

Chris RamstromChris has had more than 15 years of experience in enterprise security software. Chris started as a developer at Axent Technologies implementing strong authentication software. Axent later was acquired by Symantec where he led a team of engineers and helped move Symantec Information Manager into a leader position in the Gartner Magic Quadrant.

He also held a position in the Office of the CTO and was responsible for the security architecture across the company including authentication, authorization, single sign-on, data protection and leakage, identity management as well as keeping the company involved in several Security Standards such as OASIS and the DMTF.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a focus on statistics and economics. 


Bob Canaway

VP of Marketing

Bob CanawayBob leads Ektron's global marketing efforts and is responsible for product and go-to-market strategy, demand generation, branding, positioning, and communications.

With 15 years of experience in software and high-tech marketing management, at both start-ups and well respected companies such as Intel and TIBCO, Bob brings an analytic and collaborative focus to marketing. Bob works to support Ektron’s place as a thought leader in the content management and marketing fields and helps bring Ektron’s platform to organizations around the world.

David Ryan

VP of International Operations

David RyanAs VP of International Operations and Managing Director for EMEA & APAC and managing director of operations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, David is focused on supporting and expanding the Ektron client and partner communities for all Ektron international offices.

David was promoted internally after leading Ektron EMEA as the Managing Director.  David has over 15 years in print and web technology with over twelve years experience in content, document management, and customer experience management.

Working with organizations ranging from FTSE 100 and International Blue Chip Companies, SME's, universities and charities, David has a wealth of experience with Ektron customers and partners of all sizes and missions.
